Hopefully, by now most of the street members are aware of Seaforth Avenue Street Party on the 4th June at 2:30pm. This time we are planning to the same and much more. 

Potato & Spoon Race    3:30

Eating contest (it might be some of us's fav :)  4:00

Musical Statues              4:30

Number Game               5:00

There will be Tug of war too, hopefully. 

If you have anymore ideas, or anything else you would like to do please do let us know. Last year face painting idea was brillient. I am happy to do Henna hand painting for girls, young girls and little bit older girls :) sorry no men please. It will be nice to put up a small sign. May be just A4 sheet and tape it on top of the mop and place it near you so everyone know where you are. :)

There will be music, any suggestion on Music? Or bring along a CD, but please do make sure you take it back as we don't want any things missing.

Please do bring along ideas as we want every neighbour to be part of it and have fun.

I have a little knowledge of henna painting, if any one is interested then I teach them how to do it. Also my be how to do elegant eye makeup.

Meet neighbours through Royal Wedding street party

Good Morning

Welcome to the Seaforth Avenue street party on the 29th April 2011

Whether or not you are a royal fan, the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton on 29th April 2011 will be a great chance or excuse to meet with our neighbours into our traffic free street and let the kids play freely for a change.

It's sugested between 2-6pm for the road closure and your sugestions are the most we need to make it fun for everyone.
